A gamebook is a book that allows the reader to participate in the story by making choices that affect the course of the narrative, which branches down various paths through the use of numbered paragraphs or pages.

here is to all my friends who don't remember the gamebooks!
the books i was trying to describe with such ethusiasm and hope of catching a familiar glance in all your eyes.
the books no one remembered.
well i knew there were people out there
who cheated like me and go back to the previous episode and choose the other way when they didn't expect to die in the middle of it
or get lost in space
or be imprisoned till death
or go to the end of the future where you just lie and tubes give you all you need...
i my friend, was a child who wanted to live till the end of the book.
and accept the end that was supposed to be.
and it's at the end of the book whether it's a regular book or not!
